Royal Stacks is a mini homage to US burger chain, Shake Shack. The first Royal Stacks store on Collins Street is a big space, with rows of brown-leather booths; a pink neon “burger” sign; and a live garden wall that will change and grow with the seasons.
If we had to come up with a shortlist of sentences that we don’t think we’ll ever get tired of writing, “Melbourne is getting a brand new burger joint,” would definitely be close to the top. Which is lucky, because frankly, it’s something we have to write a lot.
Royal Stacks is the latest burger bar to hit the Melbourne CBD. This is a burger bar with a bit of a twist though – aside from the distinctly monarchical theme, Royal Stacks is using locally sourced products and pasture fed beef that is GMO free with no added hormones or antibiotics.
If you’re after the royal burger treatment in Melbourne, then look no further. Aiming to stand out from the ever-increasing local burger joint crowd, the American diner-style chain Royal Stacks is launching on Collins Street on January 18.
